Volante

Volante are a new five Piece funk/ R&b / Dance cover band consisting of female vocals, guitar, keyboards, Bass and drums. Sharifah (Vocals) - Is new to the scene and has an energy that compliments the band’s style and charisma, she also sings for the Captain Cook cruises and has healing powers as a registered nurse. 
Michelle (Guitar)- Is an experienced jazz and classical musician, with two degrees under her name from the W.A.A.P.A . Michelle has played in three piece jazz groups, church groups, funk bands and has had roles in local big bands.
 
Josh (Keys) – Is an accomplished jazz musician who has current experience playing at late night clubs such as Deville’s and the Ellington. He has also completed his Bachelor of Jazz performance @ W.A.A.P.A. 
 
David Gee (Bass) – Have been playing piano from an early age then branched out to the bass guitar to study for an Advanced Diploma in Contemporary music performance from W.A.A.P.A. I’m experienced in playing rock and funk music for local cover and original bands.
Vassya (Drums) – Is in his early Twenty's Currently Studying Bachelor of Contemporary Music at W.A.A.P.A. A very capable drummer with experience in a wide variety of styles, from r&b, reggae ,jazz to heavy rock.
