Alex Manfrin

Perth comedian Alex Manfrin began writing and performing comedy professionally in 1989 for 96FM's Breakfast Show. Since then, Alex's work has been featured on Radio National, 720AM, ABC774, 6PR, ABC Online and Homegrown Humour.Alex also writes for various Australian newspapers and magazines.

It was in the 1990's that Alex first became aware of his perverse desire to wear false eyebrows and spectacles, becoming his twisted alter-ego "John How-Odd". After learning to adopt the hip, confident swagger and raw sexual energy of Australia's Prime Minister, Alex began performing the character at comedy venues, corporate functions including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and ABC TV's George Negus Tonight.
