Alegrias Spanish Dance Ensemble

"Alegrias Spanish Dance Ensemble" is a self funded family group presenting full theatre productions and is regularly involved in community and cultural events throughout Perth and WA. An extention of the core ensemble is "Encanto", member Farida Rabih's performance group, which is also popular for these events. Dancer Helen Rabih has lived and worked in Spain for six years with a number of well known companies, and daughter Farida who began training in Perth has also worked in Spain and revisits the country regularly for these intense study trips. "Alegrias" captures the excitement and diversity of Spanish music and dance through Classical Spanish, Regional and Flamenco styles.
